It seems strange to be asking for people to give more these days but I suppose in the world we live in today there is always going to be someone who could use our help. So with the upcoming Misfits show here in Murfreesboro on December 1st and Christmas creeping up just around the corner, we figured we would do something special for those whom admire our work and show posters in general.

As we stated before, I will be at the Misfits show selling all our prints including the Misfits poster. Typically all our prints sell for $20 each, but if you plan to be at the Misfits show and you want a killer deal on some fancy prints, this is what you have to do:

• The first 5 people to email us with the subject line "POSTER DISCOUNT JAM!," we will give you your choice of print for $10 (that's half off!)

Fresh off the press! Really excited with these as this is one my of first very successfull attempts at using multiple semi-transparent inks. There are 3 shades of Red and 2 shades of Gold, using only 3 colors (Gold, Pearl White and Maroon.)

The gold pops really well on the black paper. (Click the thumbnails below to see detail)

And I have spent the past 3 creating each of these posters. I started with 1, the schedule grew to 2 and before I could say no, I had 3. It feels oh so good to be oh so busy.

First there is a poster for David Ramirez that I have now learned the event has been cancelled, but I love this poster so much I'm still sharing it so everyone can look at the amazing time they are not going to have this weekend - who knows, maybe everyone will rebel and demand more D.R. shows all because of this poster. (If so, M.I.D. is a.o.k. taking a percentage of the profits due to our good deeds and loving support)

Second is the poster for Austin Manuel's EP Release. This was a quick one day turn around and I knew I wanted it earthy, one color and if I could fit a feather in there it would be perfect. I'm really pleased with the turn out and I have heard that there is a great possibility this design will be screen printed early next year for a tour. So keep checking back for that.

Third is yet another terrific poster request from Max & The Wild Things. I never knew I could illustrate something so cute and yet so messy and grungy. They just bring it out in me I suppose. This is for a Christmas show and we wanted to leave the typical green & red behind and go for an un traditional holiday theme... like a wolf howlng at his christmas lit forest from the moon.
